GO GO Safari Trail

23rd June – 30th August 

One of Break’s GoGo Safari sculptures has made its way to Holkham – can you spot it? As part of this exciting art trail, 50 unique sculptures are hidden across Norfolk, making it the perfect family-friendly adventure. Visit Holkham, explore the Park, and see if you can track down our wild guest on the GoGo Safari trail!

Children’s Nature Workshop

17th and 27th August 

Get creative with this hands-on, 45-minute creative workshop. Children will learn about the design of the fascinating butterflies and moths found around Holkham Park, then craft two fluttering friends of their own to take home.

Led by Sarah Wise from the Fairyland Trust, the workshop is designed for children aged 3 and above.

Feast in the Park

Weekends throughout the summer holidays 

Tuck into a variety of deliciousness at our open-air food festival. Back for its sixth year, this seasonal gathering brings a rotating line-up of Norfolk’s tastiest street food traders to Holkham Park.

From savoury favourites to indulgent sweet bites, there’s something to tempt every appetite! With live music adding to the feel-good vibes on weekends, it’s the perfect excuse to kick back, tuck into freshly made local bites and enjoy the view.

Gone Wild Festival Norfolk

7th – 10th August 

Get ready for an unforgettable four-day escape when Gone Wild Festival returns to Holkham this summer! Following its 2024 debut, this action-packed event invites families to unplug and enjoy time together in the great outdoors.

From adrenaline-fuelled experiences like abseiling and quad biking to hands-on workshops and the vibrant colour run, there’s something to suit everyone! Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or prefer a slower pace, Gone Wild offers a fun-filled experience for all ages. Get ready for the perfect summer adventure surrounded by nature!

Ropes Course

Open daily throughout the summer holidays 

Our exciting ropes course offers the perfect chance to test your balance and bravery as you navigate a series of elevated obstacles among the treetops.

Climb, step and sway your way across rope bridges and wobbly walkways before making your descent on not one, but two thrilling ziplines! It’s an unforgettable way to enjoy the outdoors and see Holkham from up high.

 

Outdoor Theatre

5th and 12th August 

Bring a chair and a picnic and prepare to be entertained! Enjoy retellings of  Twelfth Night and of the Big Bad Wolf in the beautiful setting of the Lady Elizabeth Wind Courtyard.

Boat Hire

Open daily from 24th July

Take to the lake for an oar-some time! Our rowing boats each seat up to five people and a a great way to explore the watery world and its wildlife.

As You Like It - outdoor theatre

Youth Art Workshops

7th, 14th, 21st, 28th August 

Under the expert guidance of oil painter Bryony Knight, learn about the masters such as Matisse, Monet and Van Gogh and create your very own masterpiece in their style to take home. All materials are provided and workshops are aimed at children at 10 years and up.

 

Adventure Play Area
