We are a project partner in a pilot landscape recovery project called Wilder, Wetter, Better for nature. Working with Norfolk Rivers Trust and Norfolk County Council the project aims to link up 20,000 hectares of habitat connecting landscapes at scale including creation over 5,000 hectares of new habitat.

The project has identified five endangered ‘flagship’ species which are expected to benefit as a result of creating and connecting habitats.

These include:

  • Natterjack toad
  • Spoonbill
  • Grayling butterfly
  • Turtle dove
  • Barbastelle bat
