Matisses in the Making Youth Art Workshops

Perfect for your budding little artist, or young master painter.

Do you have your very own creative genius at home? Who loves to paint, draw and get creative with any chance they get? We have something to really get stuck into during each school holiday.

Spend a whole day, learning how to paint with a professional artist in our fully kitted out art studio. Aimed at children 10 years and up, this series of creative art workshops will teach your children how to paint in the style of some of the greatest artists who have lived, from Claude Monet’s wonderful waterlilies to Frida Kahlo’s startling self portraits. All professional materials will be provided.

This workshop is centered on the painting, Cat and Goldfish by one of the most significant visual artists of the 20th century – Henri Matisse.

Pablo Picasso famously said that it took him four years to paint like a master, and the rest of his life to paint like a child. This set of workshops will encourage your little one to fully embrace their childhood imaginations and encourage them to believe they can create a masterpiece in just one day!
