Tuesday 24th to Thursday 26th August, 7.30pm
Tickets: Adult £10, Child £5.50
Holkham Park is home to a whole host of species. One which is rarely seen by our visitors is our thriving bat community. Take a walk as the sun begins to fade, with our expert ecologist, Phil Parker. Explore the historic woodland surrounding Holkham lake and spot these fascinating creatures in flight, with the help of bat frequency detectors. Keep an eye (and ear) out for species such as Noctule, Common Pipistrelle and Daubenton’s.
All activities will take place outdoors, whatever the weather, so be sure to dress appropriately. Wear closed toe shoes and bring a torch with you. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the walk, which will be approximately 90 minutes. Parking charges do not apply. We are sorry, but dogs are not permitted on this walk.
