Festive Food Fair

Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December, 10am–5pm

Feast your senses in The Lady Elizabeth Wing. A delicious collection of food and drink from the best of local and regional producers offering a truly magical Christmas food event. Stock up on ingredients for your own Christmas feast, or find plenty of treats for the food lovers on your gift list. ‘It’s Not All About Turkey’ is our cookery theatre with a difference, hosted by Charlie’s Norfolk Food Heroes, featuring demonstrations from local chefs, yuletide musical entertainment will mean you’ll be feeling truly festive!

You can also relax in the bar in the Lady Elizabeth Wing which will be open for drinks both days from 12noon-5pm and enjoy the live music throughout the day brought to us by Bellfolk, Kings Lynn Town Band, North Norfolk’s Coastal Chorale directed by Liz Dark and ‘Light After Dark’.

1pm - Steve Thorpe, Vice Principal Norwich City College ‘A Little Gluten Free for Christmas’.
2pm - Ade The Spice Master and his very special Christmas blend seasoning for the festive season.
3pm - Eric Snaith, Executive Chef Owner of Titchwell Manor ‘A Little Insight into Christmas at Titchwell Manor’.

Sunday 17th December
11am - Scott Taylor, Ice Cookery School and Infusions for Chefs, award-winning chef with a different take on Christmas.
12noon - Simon Hunter Marsh, Norfolk’s most splendid of foragers ‘A Forager’s Tale’.
1pm - Scott Cawston of Walsingham Farm Shop ‘It is all about the Turkey’.
2pm - Roger Hickman, Roger Hickman’s Restaurant ‘A Little Fine Dining on Christmas Eve’
3pm - Arthur Howell and the Flying Kiwi with some venison magic.

Exhibitors:

Bakeshack - Aromatic pies and bakes with an oriental twist. A selection of goose fat hot water pastry pies which include black truffle chicken with a medley of porcine oyster and shiitake mushrooms, duck with spring onions plum sauce, pheasant with goji berries, chestnuts in port, venison with dried mandarin oranges, flavour of ribs, chicken with shiitake
mushrooms in soya and sesame oil and a nod to tradition with a pork pie with sage and sherry. A selection of other bakes and bun.

Black Shuck Ltd - Black Shuck gin, liqueurs and truffles.

Blackbird Cottage - Hand-crafted artisan terrines, pates, potted meats and parfaits using only locally-sourced pork, game, wild fowl and poultry. No gluten, no preservatives and no egg.

B.O.N. Bakery - Biscotti packs, biscotti and gluten, egg and dairy free boncotti, bruschetta and authentic Moroccan couscous blends.

Boo Boutique - Ladies boutique clothing and accessories.

Brimmers Bitters - Hand-crafted cocktail bitters.

Brockleby’s Pies - Farmers and pie makers from Leicestershire that hand make a range of multi award winning savoury, fruit, game and Melton Mowbray pork pies to consume at home.

Candi’s Chutney - 2017 Pride of Norfolk award winning hand-produced chutney all made using only regional and seasonal produce.

Creakey Crafts - An eclectic mix of crafts, all designed and made in North Norfolk. These are inspired by a love of the Norfolk landscape and incorporate many different materials, some collected from local beaches.

Crush Foods Ltd - Cold-pressed rapeseed oils, infused oils, sauces, dressings, mayonnaise and granola cereals.

Dann’s Ice Cream - Luxury Norfolk ice cream in festive flavours.

Driftwood Glass Studio - We are a Glass Studio based in the beautiful town of Holt. Our designsare based on the culmination of popular North Norfolk getaways mixed with the bold colours and textures fused glass can offer.

Fen Spirits - Hand-produced spirits and liqueurs made in the heart of the Fen.

Hedgerow Cordials - Delicious, exciting award-winning cordials with the tastiest ingredients.

Holkham Forge - Artist Blacksmiths working in the forge on the Holkham Estate. We create small pieces for fairs, undertake commissions, restorations and strive to show the beautiful possibilities of steel.

Holkham Game - Fresh dressed pheasant and partridge from our shoot.

Macaron Bliss - French style macarons, handmade in Suffolk.

Marsh Pig - Free range salami, chorizo, loma, coppa, bresaola and three flavours of beef jerky.

Tickets: Free entry - no need to book, just come along. There is a £3 car parking charge in Holkham park which is redeemable on purchases of £12 of more in our courtyard gift shop or café.
