What’s on
Talking with the Wounded
The Army Benevolent Fund’s Norfolk Committee invite you to Holkham for an evening ‘Talking with the Wounded’, by kind permission of the Earl of Leicester.
The evening begins with a reception including drinks and canapés in the Marble Hall at 6.15 pm followed by a presentation in the Lady Elizabeth Wing at 7.30pm with four wounded Army veterans of the campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The talk will be hosted by Ben Stephens, a former Captain in the Grenadier Guards and a Northern Ireland veteran. He is the host and producer of the podcast “Talking with the Wounded”. On the podcast veterans talk about when the unforgettable happens, what happened next, and who helped them along the way. The podcast was inspired by an expedition in the Canadian wilderness, canoeing 750km in 7 days down the River Yukon with 5 wounded veterans and hearing their stories.
This is the ABF Norfolk Committee’s major event of 2024 and they hope that you will be able to join them for what promises to be a moving and inspiring evening supporting our veterans.
