It’s a big welcome back to Holkham for Heartbreak Productions. Join us for this super glam outdoor adaptation of Shakespeare’s star crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet where you are invited to an exclusive, glittering red-carpet event attended by notorious celebrity families, The Montagues and the Capulets.
In a world of fakery, what becomes of true love? With the media reporting their every move and social media abuzz with their escapades, tensions are running high. There’s only one question on everybody’s lips - will these two families behave? Or will it be another fiery battle at dawn as the fabulous feud continues?
The age recommendation for this show is 8+ and the actors will be performing in half modern English, half Shakespearean verse.

Returning to Holkham for the third year, Strange Fascination Theatre present a new and original stage adaption of Kipling’s classic tale ‘The Jungle Book’.

Heartbreak Productions invites you to share in this exciting escapade, a David Walliams best seller adapted for the outdoor stage. Join us, Ben, and his Gangsta Granny on their grandest adventure full of forbidden fun.
Meet Ben, an 11-year-old want-to-be plumber fed up with spending his Friday nights at granny’s. All she wants to do is play scrabble and eat cabbage – not exactly his idea of fun! Hungry and bored Ben goes searching for something more edible in the kitchen and stumbles upon an old biscuit tin. The tin holds more than just digestives, however, it contains Granny’s biggest secret… Ben’s Granny is an international jewel thief - and she needs his help to pull off her biggest heist yet, stealing the crown jewels!
We recommend that this production is suitable for children aged 7+ years.

Enjoy a glorious summer evening watching one of Shakespeare’s best loved comedies performed by the UK’s premier all male theatre company The Lord Chamberlain’s Men who invite you to join them to celebrate their 15th year with ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Performed by an all male cast with with Elizabethan costumes, music and dance, this supernatural comedy of mischievous fairies, confused lovers and rude mechanicals is an intoxicating tale of clarity found from chaos as tangled love gives way to happily ever afters. “Lord, what fools these mortals be!”
To honour Duke Theseus’ wedding, a group of rustic artisans, and would-be thespians, rehearse a play. Meanwhile, feuding lovers flee the city and seek solace in an enchanted forest alive with warring fairies and the meddling sprite Puck. As the clash between the fairy king and queen, Oberon and Titania, catches everyone in its cross-fire, confusion abounds and makes asses of them all. “The course of true love never did run smooth.”
