6 Christmas Markets and Festive Fairs in North Norfolk (2025)

If you prefer choosing handmade over high street, and would rather opt for shopping at stalls than in shopping centres, then we’re pleased to share six Christmas Markets and Festive Fairs taking place in North Norfolk in November and December 2025. Each event promises to showcase a fantastic range of Norfolk’s small businesses and artisan producers, so you can pick up gifts and goodies that are made locally and with care.

If you’re in the area, why not tie in your festive market day with a windswept wander on Holkham beach, a tasty lunch or dinner at The Victoria or even a pre-Christmas stay nearby? You deserve treats too, after all!

Without further ado, let’s take a look at six festive fairs to head to this season:

Holkham Christmas Market

• Friday 12th – Sunday 14th December 2025
• Free entry, £10 parking per car
• Dogs welcome at the outside stalls

We can’t wait for the return of our annual Christmas Market, taking place this year over three days after 2024’s success!

Our Christmas Market weekend is always a wonderful one. We’ll be welcoming over 60 fantastic producers, crafters, artists and small businesses to the Lady Elizabeth Wing and outdoor courtyard, where their stalls will be filled with gifts, decorations, food and drink. Whoever you’re shopping for this festive season, there’s bound to be something here. And all that productive Christmas shopping surely means you deserve a treat for yourself, too?!

Alongside the stalls, several street food vendors will be here cooking up their tastiest treats to keep you fueled as you shop!

Norfolk Artisan Fair at Fakenham Racecourse

• Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th November 2025
• £5 adults (over 16s) booked online, or £6 on the day
• Dogs are welcome on site but not indoors

Fakenham Racecourse plays host to the Norfolk Artisan Fair this November, the first Christmas Market. With over 100 local food, drink and craft stands, there will be plenty to peruse to help you get started with your Christmas shopping. Perhaps you’ll find some foodie favourites to add to your Christmas feasting, or some pressies perfect for your friends and family.

Holt Market 

• Sunday 16th November and Sunday 7th December 2025
• Free
• Dogs welcome

Holt’s regular Sunday market is a favourite day out for many North Norfolk locals, and there are two lined up for the festive season this year. The town’s main road will be closed and packed with stalls. Artisan producers from across the region will be selling everything from ceramics to spirits, artwork to aprons, bags to bracelets… the list goes on!

Whether picking up pressies or purchasing special pieces for your Christmas decor, the markets are always a lovely way to spend a Sunday.

Holkham Christmas Market

Creake Abbey Christmas Gift Fair

• Saturday 22nd November 2025
• Free
• Dogs welcome

The Creake Abbey Christmas Fair promises over 80 stands “celebrating Norfolk’s creative prowess.” Stalls lined up for this November include those selling Christmas ornaments, handmade jewellery, dog accessories, textiles, ceramics, friend flowers, terrariums and so much more, so there’s bound to be something here for whichever awkward family member you’re shopping for! Pensthorpe Christmas Market

• Sunday 23rd November 2025
• £3 entry (free for members and under 16s)
• Dogs welcome

This annual festive market will welcome food and drink suppliers, artists and makers to Pensthorpe in a spacious outdoor environment by their nature reserve. Shop one-of-a-kind crafts, pick up gifts and enjoy tasty food along the way.

Creake Abbey Christmas Farmers’ Market

• Saturday 6th December and Saturday 20th December 2025
• Free
• Dogs welcome

Though not so much a Christmas Fair, the Creake Abbey Farmers’ Markets are a fantastic place to purchase produce if you’re hosting over the festive season, or to pick up a range of delicious edible (or pourable!) treats for the foodies in your life. With over 50 stalls usually, there’s a huge range of meats, treats and special store cupboard essentials to browse. There are samples to test, too!
