The Easter Garden
Easter funin the Walled Garden
Calling all little bunnies – join us for some gentle, Easter fun in the beautiful Walled Garden. We’ll have some cute and curious animals to meet, an opportunity to get your hands dirty at our garden-themed ‘sow and grow’ activity, games galore, storytelling from Dave Tonge, newborn lambs to greet and (of course!) a chocolate treat!
Be they fluffy, scaley, slimy or feathered, our brilliant band of animals will be looking forward to meeting you. And who knows, you may even get a cuddle! Different animals will join us each day, so you may get to meet guinea pigs, rabbits, pythons, bearded dragons, chickens, budgies, hedgehogs, amphibians and invertebrates.
Just outside the Walled Garden grazing the orchard, you’ll spot our newborn lambs from the farm – only a few days old! They’re a little too young for cuddles, but they’d love a visit and maybe even a wave. Stop by and say hi – they’d be delighted to see ewe!
Spring is the perfect time to start growing. Learn how to plant seeds and pot your own to take home with you so that you can watch it grow.
Storyteller Dave Tonge, aka the Yarnsmith of Norwich, will be in the Ed Shed sharing his captivating tales.
Games in the garden are always cracking fun, and will keep the whole family entertained. And you’ll not leave empty handed, our Easter bunny has a small chocolate treat for you as you leave.
This event is suitable for children up to the age of eight.
