What’s on

A Wild Goose Chase with Nick Acheson

Spend time with conservationist and environmentalist Nick Acheson on a very special afternoon around the Holkham National Nature Reserve in the company of pink footed geese and other priceless wildlife.

One of the greatest wild spectacles in the UK is the annual arrival of hundreds of thousands of migrant Arctic geese. The Norfolk coast is especially blessed, with up to 100,000 pink-footed geese, and the largest roosts are right here at Holkham.

Nick has appeared on BBC’s Winterwatch, Radio 4 Today, Channel 4 News and regularly speaks on BBC Radio Norfolk. He is a North Norfolk native and charts a winter spent with Holkham’s geese in his book The Meaning of Geese, signed hardback copies of which will be available to purchase on the day.
