Holkham Whodunnit

Step into history and solve the great Holkham mystery!

Join us for an exciting historical whodunnit at Holkham. A real crime took place here in 1772 – money was stolen, but who was behind it and what did they do with it? It’s up to you to crack the case!

Pick up your detective’s activity sheet and search the Walled Garden for hidden clues. Where were the gamekeepers? What were the gardeners up to? Who saw the Butler and why was the kitchen maid in the garden? Piece our clues together, follow the evidence and uncover the truth behind this centuries-old mystery. As a reward for your sharp investigative skills, you’ll earn a tasty chocolate coin for helping to bring the culprit to justice.

Make a day of it with a free craft activity making your own detective’s magnifying glass and some fun family games, perfect for all ages.

Don’t miss this chance to step back in time and become a detective in one of Holkham’s most intriguing real-life mysteries!

Carl the Bubble Man will also be roaming through the Walled Garden on Saturday 24th,  Sunday 25th and  Monday 26th May from 11am – 2pm! Follow the bubbles to find him!
