Holkham Hall by Candlelight, Family Day

Join us for our very first Christmas family day at Holkham Hall, a truly magical day out for Christmas lovers big and small.

On Saturday 20th December bring your families to explore the Hall in its fabulous festive finery and meet some of the enchanting characters that make Christmas at Holkham so special.

Enjoy cheerful, festive, live tunes and a magical atmosphere in the Palladian Marble Hall before beginning your journey through snowy forests and enchanting sugarcoated scenes at your own pace. Wander though the magnificent state rooms adorned with dazzling decorations and beautiful flickering candlelight.

Our friendly team will be available to share how the installations and unique decorations were created and explain the inspiration behind each room setting. Don’t forget to tell your little ones to bring their letters for Father Christmas… you never know who you might find in the Hall…

The details

Please arrive 30 minutes before your Hall entry time to ensure the is time for you to enjoy your complimentary prosecco and mince pie (or soft drink) before your time-slot begins. Car parking is complimentary but please note you may be directed to our overflow car park which will require a short walk to the Visitor Reception – if you have specific access requirements please contact us in advance and we can make the appropriate arrangements.

Our Giftshop and Courtyard Café will be open to provide delicious seasonal food, drinks and gifts galore for all your last minute Christmas shopping needs!
