Block printing and lampshade making workshop
Block printing and lampshade making day with Sue Welfare and Sally Bennett
We are sorry, this event has been cancelled.
Spend a fun, creative day exploring the arts of block printing and lampshade making!
Begin your morning with Sue Welfare, a talented, local artist and printmaker, and learn the art of hand-printing your own fabric. Using beautiful traditional wooden blocks, you’ll experiment with colour and pattern to create something completely unique.
After lunch, Sally Bennett from Cushion Cottage will guide you in transforming your printed fabric into a stunning 30cm lampshade – perfect for your home or as a thoughtful handmade gift.
No experience is needed! There will be plenty of guidance throughout, and all materials are provided. Just bring your creativity, enthusiasm and a willingness to have fun while making something beautiful.
For any questions, please contact Sue directly at sue.welfare@gmail.com.
