I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Decoy shepherd’s hut. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The space was luxuriously fitted out, with crisp white linen, soft towels, and a beautiful selection of bathroom potions and body lotions—not the usual thin hotel-style offerings, but truly indulgent. The setting was just as impressive as the interior. The view across the field to the horses was serene, and the private patio, framed by hedging, offered a peaceful spot to sit and soak it all in. With its own parking space, serene surroundings, and a level of comfort that made it hard to leave, Decoy is a true hidden gem.

We stayed at Orchid Valley, which is the most secluded of the shepherd huts ( they are all well situated). The stay was very enjoyable. It was peaceful with a lovely view and we enjoyed watching the birds. The hut was very well equipped and so comfortable. Well done to The Victoria, Holkham, it was a fabulous holiday.

We stayed two days in the new fantastic Shepherd Huts at The Victoria. They were very clean, well-kept and cosy!  The huts are very close to the hotel where we had breakfast and a wonderful Sunday lunch. The staff are all extremely nice, friendly and helpful. The whole environment at The Victoria and Shepherd Huts are so lovely with close proximity to the sea and the park with lots of animals. We would definitely recommend the Shepherd Huts to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday on the beautiful North Norfolk coast.

We stayed for 4 nights in one of the new shepherd huts – beautifully designed, great use of the space and so well equipped – everything had been thought of. The setting is really lovely with a restful outlook. Although the weather wasn’t great we enjoyed sitting at the breakfast bar and looking at the horses in the field, when we couldn’t sit outside. A very relaxing break, friendly and helpful staff and so dog welcoming everywhere. We will plan to come back soon – although we expect these to be booked up quickly for months ahead!
