Holkham is available for bespoke weddings throughout the year, giving you the flexibility to create your own unique day.
With six different licenced venues to choose from, Holkham has a variety of options available for your civil wedding ceremony.
If you are planning a civil wedding or partnership you will also need to visit Norfolk County Council’s Marry in Norfolk website and fill out their enquiry form to book a registrar for the ceremony.
Wow your guests with a ceremony within one of the four state rooms at Holkham Hall. From the infamous Marble Hall with its 50ft ceiling, The Saloon, adorned with roaring fires and air of decadence, to the Statue Gallery and its impressive sculpture collection.
The charming Temple is in an idyllic setting within Holkham park, tucked away in the woods to the south of the hall, creating a special setting for your ceremony or reception.
The Lady Elizabeth Wing
The Lady Elizabeth Wing is a stylish and contemporary event space that can work flexibly for small or large numbers. With stunning arched windows flooding the Courtyard Room with light, it is the perfect venue for ceremonies for up to 80 guests.
St. Withburga’s Church
This traditional flint church sits in a tranquil corner of Holkham park, situated half a mile north-west of Holkham Hall. The church welcomes couples with either a family or residential connection, or who are regular worshippers.
Enquiries can be made directly to the church by contacting Rev’d Brenda Stewart on email@example.com.
Drinks and canapés
Following your ceremony, you and your guests can enjoy drinks and canapés in the State Rooms of Holkham Hall, which provide a spectacular backdrop for your wedding photographs, or in the private courtyard of the Lady Elizabeth Wing.
