A magical opportunity to see the magnificent state rooms adorned with opulent Christmas decorations and beautiful flickering candlelight. Join one of our knowledgeable guides for a tour where you will see the wonderful decorations, learn about how they were created and listen to the intriguing stories of Holkham’s history and of its residents past and present. Meet our Victorian cook and housekeeper who will be preparing a Christmas feast and sharing stories of their time in the hall’s grand old kitchen.

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS TOURS

For our younger visitors, we’ve a chance to see the magnificent decorations on a family-friendly tour around the hall. Join one of our guides who will show you the decorated staterooms and the old kitchen. Father Christmas is sorry that he is unable to meet you in person, but has sent one of his elves along with a small memento for all children.

Parking will be available close to the hall and is complimentary - please show your booking confirmation to the parking attendant. Arrive at the hall’s entrance at least 5 minutes before the start of your tour where you will be met by your tour guide.Your ticket includes a glass of Prosecco, or a soft drink, and a mince pie on weekday tours and a glass of mulled wine, or a soft drink, and a mince pie on Sunday tours. You can have your mince pie and drink before or after your tour other than the last 4 tours of the day, which must be taken before. These are served in the Courtyard Café which will be open until the start of the last tour - 8pm for weekday tours and 5pm for Sunday tours. Please show staff at the café your ticket.Our gift shop will be open until 8pm for weekday tours and 5pm for Sunday tours giving you the chance to shop for that perfect Christmas present, or some of our wonderful decorations to take home.
