A visit to our interactive Holkham Stories Experience, where we celebrate the many stories of Holkham’s rich, 400-year heritage and innovative future, is a must.
Learn how some of the foremost landscape designers of their day helped shape Holkham’s setting over the years. Discover how the bricks used to build the Hall were made on the estate, and how influential the Coke family has been over the generations, from prosecuting the Gunpowder Plotters to playing a major part in the agricultural revolution. Plus, new for this year, delve into WONDER – our pioneering sustainability and conservation action plan.

Stories of WONDER is the conclusion to your visit. Here you will learn about our sustainability and conservation action plan entitled WONDER. Through interactive models and engaging videos and displays, you can discover how we are striving to achieve our goals to enhance natural capital, champion low carbon living, and stamp out waste.

Tickets to Holkham Stories and Holkham’s other attractions can be bought in advance online or on the day at Visitor Reception.
Holkham Hall, Walled Garden and Holkham Stories Experience tickets: (Holkham Hall is open Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays only)
Adult: £24, child (ages 5-15): £2.50
Walled Garden and Holkham Stories Experience tickets:
Adult: £10, child (ages 5-15): £1.50
Holkham Stories Experience only:
Adult: £7, child (ages 5-15) £1

Use the postcode NR23 1RH to enter Holkham via the north gates, follow the path through the park until you reach the car park. There is a parking charge of £6 in place. Our friendly attendants will take your payment via card or cash and advise where you can park.
Go car free! Enjoy a 30 percent discount on attractions when you arrive by public transport, by bike or by foot.
Holkham Stories is on one level and benefits from a hearing loop from room 2 onwards.

How long will a visit to Holkham Stories take?
We recommend spending around 45 minutes to 1 hour in the exhibition. It’s free-flow though, so you can spend as long as you’d like here.
Can I buy a Holkham Stories only ticket?
Yes, you can choose to visit just Holkham Stories and can purchase your ticket in advance here or pay on the day.
Our best value tickets are combined tickets – why not combine your Holkham Stories visit with a trip around our Walled Garden and Holkham Hall?

Yes, there is level entry throughout the exhibition. There is also a hearing loop from room 2 onwards.
