What’s on
Willow Weaving Workshop – Round Baskets
Join Karen Bek on this two day workshop to make a round willow basket. You will learn how to create all aspects of the basket – starting with making the base using a traditional English technique. You will stake up the base and add weavers to secure uprights, then weave the sides before laying down a border and adding a handle. You will also learn about how to select willows for basketry, how it grows, where you can buy supplies – and hopefully be inspired to continue on your weaving journey!
Tickets can be purchased directly from Karen’s website here.
Any questions, please contact Karen directly at bek_karen@hotmail.com
