What’s on

Holkham parkrun

Ready, set. . .parkrun!

Start your weekend with a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you!

A women with blonde hair, pink top and black leggings and a man in black clothes and a blue hat running in the snow at Holkham.

The course

If you’re looking for a single loop route with a few hills, tarmac and hardcore roads and unbeatable views – this is the parkrun for you.

Take your marks at the start line next to the South front of Holkham Hall and set off up the gentle incline and head through the gate on the right side of the cattle grid. Make your way round the left-hand side of  the ‘Rob-elisk’ where volunteer Rob and his four legged friends will be waiting to cheer you on!

At the bottom of the hill, take a left up the hill towards the Great Barn and then head back down the slope on the right. When you get to the avenue turn right and head all they way down the south drive, back up the hill to the Obelisk (passing on the left) and then it’s all downhill from there to the finish on a short stretch of grass in front of the Hall.

Collect your token, scan your barcode and (if you feel like it) ring the happy bell to celebrate a wonderful parkrun!

If you’d prefer to volunteer rather than run/walk there are plenty of excellent volunteering roles available – please email holkham@parkrun.com to sign up.

All ages and abilities are very welcome, and the Courtyard Café will be open early for that much needed post-run hot chocolate, cup of coffee, sweet treat or sausage roll!
