Be brave and explorethis October half term
Spooks, thrills, delights and chills have transformed Holkham’s Walled Garden for Halloween – do you dare to enter?
Come and creep through the garden gates – we’ve got oodles of spookiness (and a few sweet treats!) to surprise you. Listen to spooktacular tales, get creative with creepy crafts, make your own magic potion with our not-so-wicked witches and enjoy pumpkin carving and create the strangest face you can!

Stop by the Ed Shed to listen to spooky stories by the Norfolk Yarnsmith to get you into the Halloween spirit!
Halloween Crafts
Have a go at our magical, free craft activity to take home with you.
Frightful Face Painting (on selected dates)
On Sunday 26th, Monday 27th and Thursday 30th come and find our frightful face painter hiding the in garden!
Witches Kitchen
Head into the forest and brew up a magical potion with natural ingredients with witches from the Fairyland Trust!
Search for potion ingredients
Go on a quest through the rooms in the Walled Garden to find all of the ingredients for the witches cauldron!
Pumpkin Carving
Wander up to the pumpkin patch and carve your very own scary pumpkin (£4 per pumpkin).
Chocolatey treat
What’s Halloween without a little game of trick or treat? Every child will have a small chocolate treat to take away with them.
Delicious drinks and snacks
We’ll have several food truck serving tasty nosh throughout the day. Extra charges apply!

Please wrap up warm as the weather could be chilly and wear appropriate footwear as this is an outdoor event. Please enter the park via the North gates and a £6 parking charge applies when arriving by car.

Join our guide for a wander through six acres of historic Walled Garden. Visit the newly renovated buildings such as the Samuel Wyatt Vinery and The Messenger Glasshouse. A fantastic insight into architecture and horticulture.
