Canine carolling
Join us for our annual, barking mad, festive four-legged friend celebration.
Bark the canine angels sing! Join us at this festive celebration of the most important of companions – our four-legged friends! The final plans for this year are yet to be confirmed, so here is a taster of what happened last year to get that tail wagging.
The service
Led by Reverend Canon Malcolm Rogers, join a short service of thanks will include carols, readings, poetry and prayer to celebrate our canine companions. Other four-legged friends welcome too.
Dog show
After the service it’s time for the Dog Show- stay behind and watch the array of dogs strut their stuff for a chance to win a special prize, courtesy of Pooches.
It’s free to enter and all dogs are welcome! The classes are as follows:
• Best festive dressed dog
• Dog with the waggiest tail
• Scruffiest mutt
• Best trick performed by your dog
• Best young handler (under 16s)
There will also be a festive selfie spot for a perfectly posed picture with your pooch!
Group dog walk
After the show join us for a group dog walk around Holkham Lake and past St. Withburga Church (approximately 2.5 miles).
The service will take place in the park outside the Cricket Pavilion. All dogs are welcome. Fancy dress is encouraged. No need to book, just come along and have fun!
