Canine Carolling

Bark the canine angels sing! Join us at this festive celebration of the most important of companions – our four-legged friends! Here’s what to expect from the day:

10-10:45am:

Enjoy a Working Dog Demonstration led by our gamekeeping team. Is your dog up to the challenge?

11-11:45am:

Led by Reverend Brenda Stewart, join a short service of thanks will include carols, readings, poetry and prayer to celebrate our canine companions. Other four-legged friends welcome too!

12-1pm:

It’s time for the Dog Show including various classes:

  • Best festive dressed dog
  • Dog with the waggiest tail
  • Scruffiest mutt
  • Best trick performed by your dog
  • Best young handler (under 16s)

There will also be a festive selfie spot for a perfectly posed picture with your pooch!

1:30pm:

Join us for a group dog walk around Holkham Lake and past St. Withburga Church (approximately 2.5 miles).

 

The service will take place on the lawn outside Holkham Hall. All dogs are welcome. Fancy dress is encouraged. No need to book, just come along.
