Cycle Hire

The scenic routes through Holkham park are perfect for cycling and an opportunity for visitors to explore more of the estate. Click here to view a map of the various routes you can cycle. Or if you are feeling adventurous, it’s an opportunity to saddle up and explore more of the local area. We have bicycles for the whole family, with full-sized adult bikes, various child-sized bikes, balance bikes and tag cycles plus trailers and child seats for our youngest visitors. The cycle hire centre is located adjacent to the car park in Holkham park.

Please be aware that the park is part of the working estate and there will be light traffic. Please note that pre-booking is not possible and bikes are hired out on a ‘first come first served’ basis.

Let’s protect each other
With the phased and cautious re-opening of our visitor businesses, it is so important we help to protect each other. Hand sanitisers will be in place to keep you safe, and our friendly team will be on hand to welcome you and answer any questions. We have put extra measures in place to enable us and you to all keep our distance from each other. We will also be cleaning and sanitising bike handlebars, gear shifters, brake leavers, saddles and helmets after each bike is returned. To ensure the safety of all visitors, if you or anyone in your party has shown any symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 14 days, or been in contact with anyone who has tested positive in the last 14 days, please do not visit us. Click here for more details of the actions we are taking to help protect our staff, visitors and local community.
