The farm grows feed wheat on 600 hectares of land and approximately 5000 tonnes is harvested which is sold onto the feed market. Three varieties are selected for their characteristics that work best with the conditions and lighter land: Scout, Viscount and Kilder, the first variety is a soft wheat, which ends up in the food chain for biscuit-making. The remaining two are hard wheat which is used for animal feed. All of the crop is sold on the open market.
