We have a rare and exciting opportunity to work within Holkham Hall as part of our Collections Team, who together manage the art collection, libraries, and archive.

The team are responsible for the delivery of the day-to-day preventive conservation programme by carrying out hands on conservation care of these fragile objects, environmental risk management, condition auditing, and temporary exhibition work, whilst also explaining our work to visitors, and safeguarding the collection during activities such as building work, filming, temporary installations, and other events.

The role of Collections Co-ordinator will also jointly manage a team of conservation volunteers: their recruitment, training, and day to day projects under the guidance of the wider Collections Team.

You will have a passion for heritage and history, and a relevant qualification is preferred (art history, museum studies, conservation). You will enjoy building experiences within a unique heritage setting, telling visitors about our fascinating history, sharing tales from the past as well and undertaking new research on the collections.

A keen attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team is key.

Salary: £26,000-£27,000 per annum
