What’s on
Silversmithing: Textured Ring Workshop
Using traditional silversmithing techniques you will make your own unique recycled silver ring, from start to finish under the expert guidance of silversmith Suzanne Seed.
There will be a choice of textures, styles and finishes and you’ll be shown examples during your session to give you a better idea as to which you may prefer for your own design.
Each step will be demonstrated by Suzanne and you will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions about all things silver. The session is perfect for beginners, so don’t worry if you’ve never tried anything like this before!
At the end of the session you will receive a little goody bag. Inside there will be a quality recycled and recyclable gift box to put your jewellery in.
Please arrive via the North Gates and make your way to Visitor Reception, from here you will be directed to the Education Room where the workshop will take place. Whilst you craft your rings you can enjoy complimentary refreshments and hot drinks from the Courtyard Café.
Please contact our Visitor Reception if you have any specific accessibility requirements you wish to discuss. They will be happy to help you.
