LET’S PROTECT EACH OTHER
OUR LATEST UPDATE ON ENTERING LOCKDOWN
TUESDAY 5TH JANUARY 2021
As we enter another national lockdown from 00:01AM on Wednesday 6th January 2021, we can provide the following update on how this changes operations at Holkham:
- Holkham Park, its car park and attractions remain closed. The main gates are shut to vehicles, but the pedestrian gates are open during daylight hours for local residents to access the park on foot or bicycle for their daily exercise. The park toilets will remain open.
- The car parks at Holkham Village, Lady Anne’s Drive, Freeman Street and Beach Road in Wells-next-the-Sea will remain open for use by local residents.
- The café at The Lookout will close from Wednesday 6th January until further notice, but the toilets will remain open.
- The Beach Café at Wells-next-the-Sea will close from Wednesday 6th January whilst we review our operational procedures in light of the new strain and heightened safety guidelines. However Beach Road toilets will remain open.
- Pinewoods Holiday Park remains closed to both owners and holidaymakers.
- The Victoria Inn remains closed until further notice.
Please be reassured that if you have booked tickets, dining or accommodation with any of our businesses, our team will be in contact with you as soon as possible to cancel or re-schedule your booking.
As we re-adjust to this new lockdown, we ask once more that you join us in helping to protect each other. Please do familiarise yourself with the official STAY AT HOME guidance and use your good sense when deciding whether our beaches and park are your most local outdoor, open space in which to enjoy your daily exercise.
Please also remember that when using our outdoor spaces, it is essential to continue to adhere to strict social distancing rules, use the sanitiser provided and pay by card across the estate at all times.
We will continue to provide updates here as the guidance changes and we work towards reopening our attractions within Holkham Park, our cafes, The Victoria Inn at Holkham and Pinewoods at Wells-next-the-Sea.
