Receptions with drinks and canapés can be held in four of the state rooms within the hall, all providing spectacular backdrops for your wedding photographs. In addition, The Lady Elizabeth Wing, with its own private courtyard, is a contemporary space for both small and large wedding receptions for up to 250 dinner guests and 360 guests for a drinks party. The smaller, reception space of The Lady Elizabeth Wing is ideal for smaller numbers of up to 60 people.

Our stunning, dedicated event and wedding reception venue in the courtyard near to the hall. With adaptable space for small or large receptions, it can be used in conjunction with a wedding or civil partnership in one of the state rooms in the hall.
The Marble Hall
One of the grandest entrance halls in Europe, the Marble Hall, with its breathtaking ceiling, statuary and impressive stairway, provides a unique and impressive location for your reception.
The Statue Gallery
The Statue Gallery provides an elegant space for a reception. It contains perhaps the most complete collection of classical antique statuary in a private house in Britain.
The grand Saloon creates an opulent setting for a reception.

Marquee Wedding Receptions
Your wedding breakfast and evening party can be hosted in a marquee, in one of three stunning locations. We are able to provide you with the details of recommended marquee suppliers who are familiar with our sites, so that you can discuss exactly what you would like – from a traditional English canvas pole tent, to a Kata Tipi marquee with reindeer skins and fire bowls
The Walled Garden
The walled garden lies to the west of Holkham Hall and offers a secluded space, surrounded by high walls which create a unique microclimate. This is a perfect venue for a marquee wedding reception.
The lawn outside the temple is available as a marquee site and is particularly ideal if you are planning a wedding inside the Temple or under its portico.
