The Statue Gallery
The Statue Gallery is available for a drinks party or reception after a ceremony in one of the other state rooms licenced for weddings and civil partnerships. This room, with its two tribunes, was modelled on the Gallery at Chiswick House in London. The setting is superb with richly coffered apses at either end of the room copied from the Temple of the Sun and Moon in Rome. The Statue Gallery contains a fascinating selection of Thomas Coke’s works of art which he sourced whilst on his Grand Tour of Italy, almost three hundred years ago. The decorated ceilings in the tribunes, eighteenth century chandeliers and gilding add touches of glamour to the otherwise simply decorated space, creating an elegant look, to which couples can add their own special touches.
The space is suitable for up to 100 guests.
