Overview

Pinewoods is a unique, coastal 5-star holiday park located in Wells-next-the-Sea beside the award-winning beaches of Wells and Holkham and adjacent to the Holkham National Nature Reserve. With 670 static holiday home bases including our hire fleet of 81 units and a state of the art 116 pitch touring park. Part of the Holkham Estate leisure portfolio, this role is responsible for leading the delivery of three key income streams for Pinewoods; holiday home sales, holiday sales and site fees.

As a result of an internal appointment, we are looking to appoint a successor to this dynamic and exciting role in Holkham’s senior management team.

The General Manager oversees and directs all elements of the Pinewoods business. Strategy, sales, sourcing and supplier relationships, marketing, reservations, on-site customer service, systems, site management, safety, budgeting and financial management, growth opportunities, and, of course, leadership of a remarkable team.

The General Manager reports to Holkham Estate’s Managing Director, but although Pinewoods is a vital contributor to the Estate’s financial success, it also enjoys a high level of autonomy which makes the role more demanding than that of a General Manager in a holiday park group where the big decisions are made in Head Office.
