TICKETS

What are the terms and conditions
of ticketing?
Please see the terms and conditions on the ticketing website you have purchased your tickets from.

Where are tickets available?
Tickets are available to purchase from the following designated ticket agents:

Is there a Hospitality Area?
Yes, the official bespoke Hospitality Package experiences are available with Softley Events www.softleyevents.co.uk Email: bookings@softleyevents.co.uk or Telephone: 01603 757658.

When do tickets stop being available?
If any tickets remain on the day of the concert, they will be offered for sale from the concert box office at the concert arena.

Can I buy tickets on the night?
If any tickets remain on the day of the concert, except for Hospitality Packages, they will be offered for sale from the concert box office at the concert arena.

Where can I buy tickets for wheelchair users?
Wheelchair users and patrons with access requirements should visit the Ticketmaster website www.ticketmaster.co.uk Click on the ‘Accessible Tickets’ icon on the top right of the ticket screen. For any issues please telephone Ticketmaster on 0800 988 4440 (opening hours Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 10.30am-3.30pm).

Will there be a box office collection point on the day?
Yes.

Are there children’s tickets?
There will be no children’s concessionary tickets available.

Proof of age
All ticket holders may be asked to produce proof of age on entry to the concert. Under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 years or over) at all times.

Will we get a refund if it rains?
The concert will not be cancelled if it rains. Please note tickets are non-refundable.

Can I have a refund or exchange on my tickets?
We regret that we cannot exchange, refund or transfer tickets unless the event in question has been cancelled or rescheduled. This is part of the purchase policy you agree to when purchasing the ticket(s).

What do I do if my tickets are lost or stolen?
Please contact the ticket agent you purchased your tickets from.

Is there a covered area?
There is no covered area. The event is held in the parkland.

Can I get into see Holkham Hall with my ticket?
The tickets are for concert attendance only and do not include entrance to any of the attractions at Holkham.

TRAVELLING TO THE CONCERT

Setting off
The roads into and out of the local area will be busy due to the volume of traffic experienced on a summer’s weekend and due to the increase of traffic for the concert. Please allow extra time for your journey including accessing the venue, parking and walking to the concert arena.

How do I find the concert location?
Follow concert directional signage on the approach roads to Holkham. Do not follow any other signage.

What time will the gates be open for the concert?
The opening time of the gates to access the venue has yet to be confirmed and will be subject to a full traffic management plan with multiple access routes to the grounds on the night. Full information for concertgoers will be available in due course.

Which gate do we use on the night of the concert?
Cars and Taxis -
The designated gates to access the venue for cars has yet to be confirmed and will be subject to a full traffic management plan with multiple access routes to the grounds on the night. Full information for concertgoers will be available in due course.

Coaches - Coaches should follow the concert signs to enter Holkham park at the south gates. NB: No other gates into Holkham park have the width or height to take coaches.

Pedestrians/Cyclists - The designated gate to access the venue for pedestrians and cyclists has yet to be confirmed and will be subject to a full traffic management plan. Full information for concertgoers will be available in due course.

PARKING

What are the parking facilities?
Parking will be in designated car parks on rough grass parkland with marshals directing the traffic flow. Please do not park on the public highways, grass verges or access routes within Holkham park. Vehicles not parked in the designated car parks, abandoned or illegally parked, may be fined or removed.

How close is the general parking to the arena?
The designated parking areas will be approximately 200 to 800 metres from the arena depending on which car park is used and spaces available. Accessible parking will be closer - see below.

Is there parking for people with disabilities and how close is it to the arena?
Accessible parking will be available as close to the arena as reasonably possible but please note all parking is on rough grass parkland. We are unable to offer mobility scooters.

Coach parking
On arrival coaches will be directed to parking in the south park in a separate area to cars.

How early can we park for the concert?

Can we park at Holkham during the day before the concerts starts?
Yes you are welcome to visit the attraction. Any cars entering Holkham park via our regular north gate visitor entrance to visit the attractions before the concert arena gates open, will be subject to the normal £3.00 per day parking charge (redeemable in the Holkham gift shop on purchases of £12 or more).

Is there a car parking charge for just attending the Lionel Richie concert?
Parking at the venue for the concert is free of charge.

Can we picnic on arrival?
For your own safety, you will not be allowed to picnic in any of the car parks.

Can I leave my car overnight at Holkham?
The estate will not allow any vehicles to be parked overnight in Holkham park. Vehicles abandoned or illegally parked, may be fined or removed.

WHEN YOU ARE HERE FOR THE CONCERT

What is the concert arena like?
The concert is outdoors and will be located in the south park at Holkham and the terrain is primarily grass parkland.

Where is the stage?
The stage will be situated on the south park at Holkham with Holkham Hall as a backdrop.

What time can we go into the arena?
Gates to the concert arena will open from 4pm to ticket holders.

What time does the show start and finish?
The start time has yet to be confirmed. Full information for concertgoers will be available in due course. The concert finishes at approximately 10pm.

Is there a support artist/act?
Shane Filan will be supporting Lionel Richie at Holkham. Announced Monday 9th April at 4pm.

Is there a designated area for wheelchair users and patrons with access requirements?
Wheelchair users will have a designated area with a ramp/platform. Please note that the concert area, including the designated area for disabled concertgoers, is situated on rough grass parkland. All customers requiring accessible parking need to ensure their tickets are booked through Ticketmaster’s Accessibility Line www.ticketmaster.co.uk. Click on the ‘Accessible Tickets’ icon on the top right of the ticket screen. For any issues please call Ticketmaster on 0800 988 4440 (opening hours Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 10.30am-3.30pm).

Can I bring my assistance dog?
Assistance dogs are permitted in the concert.

Will there be first aid cover?
Yes. Should you or anyone in your party require first aid, please notify the nearest steward/event official.

Is there seating inside the venue?
There is a limited number of reserved seats.

Can we bring tables, chairs and/or rugs?
Please bring your own foldable low-back canvas chairs or rugs. Only one chair/rug per person can be brought to the concert. Please do not bring trolleys, sack-barrows or wheeled carriers. No tables or other equipment can be brought into the arena. Please note that there will be an area close to the stage in which for safety reasons, no chairs will be allowed.

Can we bring gazebos/awnings?
No gazebos, awnings, windbreaks or tented structures of any kind which might cause a sightline obstruction are permitted.

Can we bring our own food and drink?
Food and drink will be allowed for personal consumption. Please do not bring large picnic equipment i.e. tables and high-back chairs. There are no fires, barbeques, gas or paraffin lamps, wick burning candles or naked flames of any kind allowed.

Can we bring glasses/glass bottles or metal cutlery?
No glassware will be allowed in the parkland, only plastic glasses and drink in plastic/cardboard containers will be allowed. Similarly no metal cutlery, corkscrews or sharp objects will be permitted.

Will there be concession stands?
There will be a selection of caterers selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and food.

Are there any cash machines in the venue?
There are no ATM machines at the venue; purchases in the arena will be cash only.

Will there be bag checking?
Security staff at the entrance will enforce the condition of entry including undertaking random bag and personal searches, if deemed necessary.

What lavatories will there be?
Designated male and female lavatories will be provided and there will also be accessible lavatories. There is no other form of cloakroom.

Is photography allowed?
The unauthorised use of professional photographic equipment, video cameras, audio recording devices or the use of drones, is not allowed. Photography taken cannot be used for any commercial purpose.

What clothing should I wear?
The concert will go ahead rain or shine. Please come suitably prepared for whatever the weather might be expected. Please ensure that your footwear is suitable for grass parkland.

What is the policy on umbrellas if it rains?
Prior to the concert starting, small umbrellas will be allowed if it is wet, however no umbrellas will be allowed to remain up once the concert starts as they block the view for the audience. We do not allow larger golfing type umbrellas. It is better to bring a coat with a hood.

Can we bring our dog?
With the exception of assistance dogs, no other animals will be allowed. Please do not leave any pets in your vehicle.

Will there be fireworks after the concert?
No, there will not be fireworks after the concert. Any personal fireworks, sparklers, lasers and Chinese lanterns are prohibited.

Can I get mobile phone coverage?
There is very limited mobile phone coverage across all networks.

Personal property
Please be vigilant at all times and please look after your valuables such as your phone, purse and car keys and do not leave any bags unattended.

Will there be a contact point regarding lost property after the concert?
Enquiries can be made by email to ticketoffice@holkham.co.uk or in person to Holkham Ticket Office within Holkham park with details of the property lost and relevant contact details. If any property is handed in matching the description provided, you will be contacted accordingly.

Your rubbish
Please help us to keep Holkham park tidy by either taking your rubbish home or by using the rubbish bins located throughout the arena.
