Christmas at Holkham

Make Christmas Special at Holkham

Celebrate the magic of Christmas at Holkham with a Candlelight Tour of the Hall. See each stateroom beautifully adorned with sweet-scented pine trees, greenery, sparkling decorations, and twinkling lights. Each room will have its own theme and your guide will tell you all about the inspiration behind each magical setting.

Make your visit extra special with a Champagne, Candlelight, and Creators of Christmas tour - your unique chance to meet the faces behind Christmas at Holkham. How about extending the Christmas magic by joining us in the beautiful Chapel in Holkham Hall between Christmas and New Year for a Candlelight Experience with ‘Nativity’: a moving-image artwork by Martha Fiennes.

Have they been naughty or nice? Treat the children to our sell-out event, An Audience with Father Christmas, where they will meet our singing band of Ukulele Elves before sitting down for stories and surprises with Father and Mother Christmas.

We are delighted to bring the Festive Food Fair back for its third Christmas at Holkham. The fair will showcase the best of local and regional food and drink, and our live cookery theatre will feature demonstrations from renowned local chefs, giving you all the inspiration you’ll need for your festive feasts.

To add to this magnificent lineup, visitors can get crafty making their very own festive wreaths using greenery from Holkham park. Or there is a sparkling evening of song with Diva Opera to get you in the festive spirit.

The courtyard café will be open throughout the festive period serving up deliciously warming seasonal delights and the gift shop is definitely the place to shop this Christmas. Pick up decorations as seen in the Hall, plus presents for all your friends and family. We will be hosting special shopping evenings too, with discounts, gift wrapping, demonstrations, tastings and much more!

Our school visits to Holkham make for that perfect, memorable end of term treat, and the perfect wind-down into the Christmas holidays.
