Where are tickets available?
Tickets are available to purchase online via the Holkham website or in person at Holkham Ticket Office. Wheelchair users and customers with access requirements should telephone Holkham Ticket Office on 01328 713111 to purchase their tickets.
Is there a Hospitality Packages available?
No, there are no Hospitality packages for this event.
Will there be a box office collection point on the day?
Yes. Tickets will be available for collection at Holkham Ticket Office until 3pm on both days.
Will there be tickets available on the day?
Yes, if the event has availability and is not sold out. If available, tickets can be purchased at Holkham Ticket Office until 3pm on both days.
Where can I buy tickets for wheelchair users?
Wheelchair users and customers with access requirements should telephone Holkham Ticket Office on 01328 713111 to purchase their tickets.
Are there children’s tickets?
Yes, children’s tickets are available for children aged 5-16 years inclusive. All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 years or over). Please note, no children under 5 years will be allowed into the event.
Will we get a refund if it rains?
The event will not be canceled if it rains. Please see the ticketing terms and conditions for our refund policy.
Can I have a refund or exchange on my tickets?

Is there a covered area?
There is no covered area in the walled garden.
Can I get in to see Holkham Hall with my ticket?
Tickets are for the event only and do not include entrance to the hall and attractions.
TRAVELLING TO THE EVENT
The roads into and out of the local area will be busy due to the volume of traffic experienced on a summer Bank Holiday weekend. Please allow extra time for your journey including accessing the venue, parking and entering the event venue.
How do I find the concert location?
Follow brown tourist signs/routes signposted to Wells-next-the-Sea/Holkham.
How do we enter Holkham park and which entrance do we use?
Please use the north gates entrance off the main A149 at the Victoria Hotel in Holkham village by following brown tourist signs. Please see our website for the directions and map. For sat nav purposes the postcode is NR23 1RH. If you are an event ticket holder and would like to visit the attractions before the event, this entrance will be open from 10am. Attraction tickets are available from the Ticket Office. The north gate may also be used by visitors wishing to pick up or purchase tickets from Holkham Ticket Office. The office is open from 10am-5pm every day.
Public transport – The nearest train station is King’s Lynn (approximately 27 miles away). There is a regular train service from London King’s Cross, via Cambridge and Ely. Train times can be found by telephoning National Rail Enquiries on 08457 484 950. The local bus service runs from King’s Lynn and Hunstanton to Cromer and stops in Holkham village close to Park Road which leads to the north gates entrance – a walk of approximately ¾ mile. Visit www.traveline.info to look at bus timetables.
Speed limits – While driving through the park to the event car parking area please note that the speed limit is 10mph. Please take care as pedestrians and cyclists may be on the route.
How early can we park for the event?
The event car park will be open from 2pm. If arriving before 2pm you will be parked in the Visitor Car Park and a £3 parking charge will apply. You will be able to relocate to the event car park when it opens.
What are the parking facilities?
Parking will be in a designated car park on rough grass parkland with stewards directing the traffic flow. Please do not park on grass verges or access routes within Holkham park. Vehicles not parked in the designated car park, abandoned or illegally parked may be fined or removed.
How close is the general parking to the arena?
The designated parking areas will be approximately 600m from the arena. Accessible parking will be closer – see below.
Is there parking for people with disabilities and how close is it to the arena?
A limited number of accessible parking spaces will be within 50 metres of the event arena. Please note that parking is on uneven grass. We are unable to offer mobility scooters. Staff will be on hand to assist.
Taxi Drop Offs
Entry for taxis and drop offs is via the north gates off the A149 and will be directed by stewards as to where to park. Please follow the walled garden event directional signage.
Is there a car parking charge for just attending the Walls of Sound event?
Parking from 2pm at the designated event car park is free of charge. You might be asked by stewards or car parking attendants to show your event tickets. If arriving before 2pm you will be parked in the Visitor Car Park and a £3 parking charge will apply. You will be able to relocate to the event car park when it opens.
Can we picnic on arrival?
For your safety, you will not be allowed to picnic in the designated event car park. Picnics are permitted in the event arena.
Can I leave my car overnight at Holkham?
The estate will not allow any vehicles to be parked overnight in Holkham Park. Vehicles abandoned or illegally parked may be fined or removed.
WHEN YOU ARE HERE FOR THE EVENT
What time do the bands come on stage?
The first band will be on stage from 4pm.
Where is the arena and what is it like?
The arena is located at the walled garden. Stewards will be on duty to direct you. The event is outdoors and is on grass. There will be a small dance area (no chairs are permitted) and a picnic area.
Is there a designated area for wheelchair users and patrons with access requirements?
Wheelchair users will have a designated area however there will not be a purpose built platform. Please note that the designated area for disabled guests is situated on grass and you may be required to cross a small gravel pathway. All customers requiring accessible parking must ensure that they book their tickets either in person or by telephone at Holkham Ticket Office on 01328 713111. Holkham Ticket Office is open from 10am-5pm every day.
Can I bring my dog?
Only assistance dogs are permitted in the arena. No other dogs are allowed. We would ask that customers do not leave their dogs in their cars while they attend the event.
What time can we go into the arena?
Gates to the arena will be open from 3pm to ticket holders.
What time does the event start and finish?
The event will commence at 4pm and finish at 9pm.
Is there seating inside the arena?
There is no seating provided in the arena.
Can we bring tables, chairs and/or rugs?
Please bring your own foldable low-back canvas chairs or rugs. Only one chair/rug per person can be brought to the event. Please do not bring trolleys, sack-barrows, wheeled carriers or any item which may cause a sightline obstruction. No tables or other equipment can be brought into the arena.
Can we bring gazebos/awnings?
No gazebos, awnings, windbreaks or tented structures of any kind which may cause a sightline obstruction are permitted.
Can we bring our own food and drink?
Food and drink will be allowed for personal consumption. Please do not bring large picnic equipment i.e. tables and high-back chairs. There are no fires, BBQs, gas or paraffin lamps, wick burning candles or naked flames of any kind allowed.
Can we bring glasses/glass bottles or metal cutlery?
Glass items (wine glasses, fizz glasses and any glass tumblers, glass containers or beer bottles) will not be permitted within the arena. Metal items (metal cutlery, utensils, corkscrews) and any item considered a sharp item will also not be permitted. Please be aware that prohibited items will be confiscated.
Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event. Specifically, bottles of wine and fizz, cans of beer and soft drinks in cans, plastic and cardboard containers will be permitted in the arena.
Bag checking at the entrance to the event may be implemented if it is felt that prohibited items are being taken into the arena.
Will there be concession stands?
There will be a selection of caterers selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and food. Cash only.
Are there any cash machines at the venue?
There are no ATM machines in the arena; purchases in the arena will be cash only.
Will there be bag checking?
Can I get mobile phone coverage?
There is a very limited mobile phone service across all networks.
Is photography allowed?
The unauthorised use of professional photographic equipment, video cameras, audio recording devices or the use of drones is not permitted. Photography taken cannot be used for any commercial purpose. The ticket holder, however, consents to being recorded and/or filmed/photographed and the recording and/or film/photograph being exploited in any and all media.
What lavatories will there be?
Designated male and female lavatories will be provided and there will also be accessible lavatories. There is no other form of cloakroom.
Will there be first aid cover?
Yes. Should you or anyone in your party require first aid, please notify the nearest event steward/event official.
What clothing should I wear?
The event will go ahead rain or shine. Please come suitably prepared for whatever weather may be expected. Please ensure that your footwear is suitable for grass parkland.
What is the policy on umbrellas if it rains?
Prior to the event commencing, small umbrellas will be allowed if it is wet, however, no umbrellas will be allowed to remain up once the event starts as they block the view for the audience. We do not allow golfing type umbrellas. It is better to bring a coat with a hood.
Will there be fireworks after the event?
No, there will not be fireworks after the event, Any personal fireworks, sparklers, and lasers are not permitted.
Please be vigilant at all times and please look after your valuables such as your phone, purse and car key and do not leave any bags unattended.
LEAVING THE CONCERT
Which exit do I use?
Please be aware that the entrance gate and approach roads to the venue may differ on your exit from the venue. Exit from the venue can be made through the north gate to the A149 to Hunstanton, Wells-next-the-sea and Cromer, the west gates to the B1115 to Burnham Market or the south gates to Fakenham via the B1105. Please be aware that traffic may be slow and there may be lots of people on foot on their way to their cars/pickup points. Please follow directional signage and stewards’ instructions for a safe journey home.
The event finishes at 9pm. We advise that all taxi pick-ups are in Holkham Park before 9pm to avoid delays. Entry for taxis and pick-ups is via the north gates off the A149 and will be directed by stewards as to where to park. Please follow the walled garden event directional signage.
Will there be a contact point regarding lost property after the concert?
Enquiries can be made by email to Holkham Ticket Office at firstname.lastname@example.org with details of the property lost and relevant contact details. If any property is handed in matching the description provided, you will be contacted accordingly.
Please help us to keep the event arena and Holkham park tidy by either taking your rubbish home or using the rubbish bins located throughout the arena.
