Birdwatching for Beginners - A Guided Walk on the Holkham NNR
Fridays 21st and 28th June, 5th, 12th and 19th July, 6th and 20th September, 8am-11am
An introduction to birdwatching for the beginner; covering key identification and fieldcraft skills. We will spend the morning searching for birds in the diverse habitats of the NNR, where you will learn how to tell a Kestrel from a Sparrowhawk, a Spoonbill from an Egret. Your guide will share tips, techniques and almost 40 years of birdwatching experience. After a hard morning’s birding, we will relax and reflect with coffee and cake at The Lookout.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for varied terrain and weather conditions. Bring binoculars, if you have them, and water and sunscreen. Meet at 8am outside The Lookout.
