During lockdown, we encouraged the public to enter our short story competition, sharing their tales of Holkham - real or fictional, hilarious, halcyon, or even horrendous, all genres were welcome. We’ve been sharing our shortlisted entries and next up is Erin Ketteridge’s story of a place that her family and so many others hold dear. Her story is called ‘The Wake’.
