The Victoria Inn looks like a rather cosy house with its lovely brickwork, smoke from its chimneys and warm lantern light glowing from the windows. Being nearly 200 years old, it is what we would all call a traditional English pub, with beams and roaring fireplaces. It is the most welcoming sight for anyone who has just taken a bracing walk along the beach from Wells-next-the-Sea.
