21st November 2013 - Holkham Hall has scooped yet another award! The 2013 EDP Tourism Awards, Best Marketing category.
The category offered an opportunity for businesses, attractions and organisations to gain recognition for their efforts in adopting a proactive approach to marketing and the judges were looking for either one specific marketing activity contestants were proud of, or an overview of the whole marketing programme. Judges were looking to find a business that researched and thought through the various marketing platforms used, could give evidence that a significant impact had been achieved from their marketing campaign or activity, be it through footfall, profile or profitability, ensured that their marketing activities are communicated internally and adopted within the business and that could give evidence that their marketing activities fit strategically within the overall company business plan and within its brand values.
Sponsored by Take One Media, ‘Best Marketing’ was contested on the night by Holkham, Norfolk and Norwich Festival and Norwich Cathedral. As winner, judges said that they were impressed with Holkham’s entry and “with its clear vision to see Holkham recognised as the rural estate against which others will measure their performance”.
