The bargeboards, after being nourished with two coats of Holkham Raw Linseed Oil, are now protected from the elements.  Note the cast iron downpipe painted in “Holkham Green” Linseed Paint.

The windows (2002) after full restoration, having been painted with Holkham Raw Linseed Oil and three coats of “Barley White” Holkham Linseed Paint.  With regular cleaning, and a warm coat of raw linseed oil or Holkham Maintenance Oil applied when the colour becomes chalky, (usually after about seven years) the windows should not need repainting for a further fifteen years.
