Whether or not you live in Norfolk, getting married or forming a civil partnership is a very special occasion and choosing the right location for your ceremony is paramount.

As the whole of the 25,000-acre Holkham Estate is licensed for weddings, we have a wide range of venues to offer, each of which is guaranteed to make your day unique.

You can choose from the splendour of the Palladian Holkham Hall where various staterooms are available, the idyllic Temple in Holkham Park or the romantic Walled Gardens.


Holkham Hall

Holkham Hall is currently licensed for civil ceremonies in 10 of the staterooms. These grand rooms are able to accommodate as few as 20, or as many as 150 guests for the ceremony, followed by photographs and a champagne reception with canapés.

The impressive Marble Hall is perhaps the most dramatic entrance Hall in all England and additional rooms can be taken to suit your numbers.

The Walled Gardens

The Walled Gardens at Holkham offer a superb venue for a marquee-based wedding celebration and can accommodate large numbers. The site is within a picturesque, private and secluded area of the park and offers flexibility and choice for a bespoke occasion.

 

The Temple

The Temple is a charming shooting lodge, full of character, in a beautiful setting within the woods in Holkham Park.

This venue can hold up to 20 guests inside for a civil ceremony. For a summer wedding, the ceremony can take place outside on the terrace of The Temple, with guests assembled on the lawn facing the bride and groom.

A small wedding party of up to 20 guests are welcome to have their wedding meal at the Victoria Hotel at Holkham during off-peak season. Alternatively, the use of a marquee will enable the bridal party to have a reception either on the lawn outside The Temple or within the nearby Walled Gardens.

The Victoria Hotel

The Victoria Hotel at Holkham is a stylish, boutique hotel situated at the north entrance to Holkham Park and perfectly located for a small wedding reception of up to 40 people during the off-peak season. The hotel has 10 beautiful, individual rooms as well as 3 unique lodges within the grounds of Holkham estate to accommodate wedding parties.
