This year, an exhibition in the state rooms of the hall will allow visitors the opportunity to see some of the personal records of seven generations of the Earls of Leicester including family photographs, costumes and personal correspondence.
This beautifully kept collection gives a fascinating insight into the lives and personalities of the different generations who have influenced and changed Holkham and offers a unique opportunity for visitors to learn more about the family that has lived here for almost 300 years.
The exhibition will be available on the days the hall is open to the public, Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays from 12noon-4pm. Normal admission charges apply.
