Holkham Park

 

Which gate do we use on the night?
Concert goers will be able to access the park via the south gates at New Holkham following signs indicating the Holkham coach route.

Where is the stage?
The stage will be situated on the south park.

Is there disabled parking and how close is it to the arena?
Parking for the disabled will be available on the front line.

How close is the general parking to the arena?
The parking area will be a maximum of 100 metres from the arena.

How early can we park?
Access to the south park for the concert will be from 5pm.

Is there a parking charge?
Parking for the concert in the south park is free of charge. Any vehicles parking in Holkham Park to the north of the hall will be subject to the normal £2.50 per day parking charge.

Are there pickup and drop-off points and where are they?
Vehicles dropping passengers at the event should enter the park via the south gates where they will be directed to the drop off point. Pickups will be via the same route.

What time can we go into the arena?
Access will be available from 5pm.

Is there a designated area for disabled or is there a ramp for wheelchair users?
Wheelchair users will have a designated area but there will be no ramp/platform.

What time does the show start and finish?
The concert will commence at 7pm and finish at 9pm.

Is there a support act?
Mercury will be supported by Jackson Dancing the Dream, featuring James Aston

Will there be a large screen?
No

Will there be fireworks?
Yes

Will there be concession stands?
There will be a selection of specialist caterers.

Can we bring glasses/glass bottles or metal cutlery?
No glassware will be allowed in the parkland. Only plastic glasses will be allowed. Similarly no metal cutlery or sharp objects will be permitted.

Can we bring chairs and/or picnic rugs?
Yes, please bring your own chairs or rugs and a picnic if you like.

Can we bring gazebos/awnings/umbrellas?
All gazebos must be pre-booked through Live Promotions Tel: 01775 768661.

Can we bring our dog?
Dogs other than guide dogs will not be permitted.

Is photography allowed?
No – The unauthorised use of photographic and recording equipment is prohibited.

Will we get a refund if it rains?
The concert will not be cancelled if it rains. However, if the arena is waterlogged and the concert cannot continue, it will be re-scheduled.

How will we know if it is cancelled?
It will be announced in local media, on the radio and the Holkham website.

Will there be a box office collection point on the day?
On the day there will be a box office at each point of entry.

What are the age limits for children’s tickets?
Children’s tickets are for 5-15 years. There will be no charge for under 5’s.

How many tickets are available?
We are expecting up to 3,000 people.

Will there be a shuttle service from Holkham village into the park?
The Coasthopper bus service stops in Holkham Village on the main A149 which is approximately 1.5 miles to the concert site. (We are in contact with the bus service to see if we can offer a shuttle service into Holkham Park and further information will be available in due course on this website.)
