North Pole Expedition - April 2011
On 16th April 2011, our team, including four wounded soldiers, successfully arrived at the North Pole. They covered the greatest distance of any polar expedition that season, man-hauling their sledges, containing all of their equipment and supplies, over 200 miles. The team was completely unsupported in the most hostile environment on Earth, dealing with polar bears, open water leads and temperatures of -60°C.
This is a huge achievement for able-bodied adventurers, let-alone for those who have sustained life-changing injuries and amputated limbs and perfectly illustrates the spirit and determination of these remarkable young men and women. To find out more click here
