Propagation Day

A must for those enthusiastic gardeners keen to increase their plant stock, without it costing a fortune.

Join Holkham’s Head Gardener Tim Marshall and learn how to raise new, healthy plants.  Tim has a wealth of experience in propagating many types of plants and instructing others on the best methods to use.

The day will start in the Stables Café with an informal talk on the various methods of propagation. You will then have the opportunity to have your questions answered and take away some useful information sheets.  

After lunch you move across to the greenhouses in the Walled Gardens at Holkham for some practical experience in taking cuttings and potting up. You can then take your propagated plants home to nurture. 

£35 per person

Includes coffee on arrival and buffet lunch.

Please ensure you bring suitable clothing and footwear for the afternoon.
