Deer Discovery
Join our Deer Keeper for a stroll in the park where you can gain an insight into the lives of the beautiful fallow and majestic red deer as their behaviour changes with the seasons. You will have the chance to see not only the deer but all the other flora and fauna too and discuss how the management of the parkland, both past and present, has made it the wonderful place that it is today.
The walks will be informal and suitable for all ages and abilities and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions. Bring along your binoculars and cameras if you have them. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Tours are free of charge.
Tours will commence at 2pm - just turn up to join in.
Meet at the coach park opposite the hall. Our Deer Keeper will be there to greet you.
We anticipate the tour will last about an hour.
We suggest you wear suitable footwear for walking in parkland and come prepared for all weather.
Tours are scheduled for:
Wednesday 2nd June, 2pm.
Tuesday 29th June, 2pm.
Tuesday 27th July, 2pm.
Wednesday 18th August, 2pm.
Why not come along on each tour to see how the parkland and its inhabitants change during the season.
