Mole's
Christmas Wind in the Willows
All your favourite characters with an
exciting festive tale to tell.
Kindly Mole invites you to his Christmas party,
to witness the story of five friends and their adventures by the riverbank, in
the wild wood, on the open road, inside the justice system and to celebrate the
anniversary of the Battle of Toad Hall! The get-together takes place a number of years after the original adventures occurred and the animals, though older, are not all necessarily wiser. So do come and join Mole, Ratty, Badger, Otter and a host of other colourful characters, not forgetting of course the irrepressible Toad! We invite you to sit back and enjoy this new adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s charming and classic tale of friendship, loyalty, heroism and mischief in…The Wind in the Willows
Sunday 16th December
A
Christmas Carol
Christmas Bah - Humbug!
Charles Dickens’ classic tale of greed, awareness and redemption is brought to you by the Rain or Shine Theatre Company, who tell the tale of the miser Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghostly visitations who appear before him. A host of Dickens’ charming and comical characters bring the story to life with energy and wit and festive audiences are invited to share in Ebenezer’s journey as he travels with the ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future. Taken back to view forgotten images of his life and what might have been, Scrooge discovers a hidden side to himself, and begins to realise the meaning of Christmas and a new understanding of humanity.
Set in Victorian costume with a cast of five and surprises throughout, Rain or Shine will delight and enchant those new to the tale, and those who already know it.
