Apologies for the fire not being lit on, I believe, your last night with us. We were having the bar floors cleaned and sealed that night and the staff on duty thought it should be left off prior to this work being done. It won’t happen again!

“We were both impressed by the friendly helpful staff. The food was very good, both at breakfast and our 3 course evening meal. We also loved the decor and style of our room, and the common areas. All in all an excellent stay and we would like to return soon. One small point for the bedroom was that there was no mirror close to where you plug in the hairdryer for my partner to be able to do her hair. “We stay in a lot of small hotels, B&B’s and Inns and we are very impressed with the decor, ambience, the warm toasty fire downstairs and the staff all wore a smile with ease. 10/10 excellent all round. There is now a TV Channel guide in each room folder and Globe Pens are in the process of being ordered. "The selection and quantity of refreshments in the room was good but why not include decaff coffee?" "I realise I don't often fill out feedback forms, but at this point I will make an exception. Mo and I have now been staying in The Globe Inn for, I think, five or six times and every visit has been a real pleasure. At The Globe Inn, we really like the rooms, which are tasteful, but most importantly everybody is always friendly and cheerful. The food is consistently very good, and the whole ambiance is relaxed. To us, it's ideal. So, we'll be back."
